An original circa 1965 Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce "Serpente" floor lamp. This is an iconic piece of Italian design and is even in the permanent collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York. It has a swiveling upper arm, white opal diffuser and a black lacquered metal base. It is aprx 48" tall, 30" wide, the shade is 21" in diameter and the base is 14" in diameter. It is in very good vintage condition, some minor scratches to the metal and very minor wear to the shade.
